Mission of Deeds, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides beds, furniture and household items to people in need, recently held its annual meeting and election of officers. During the meeting, Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department Electric Superintendent Dan Flynn (back row, right) and Celeste Colvin (back row, second from left) were elected as new Directors.

Mission of Deeds is a Reading, Massachusetts-based non-profit volunteer organization established in 1993. Mission of Deeds provides beds, furniture and other items to people in need in northeastern Massachusetts. Since its inception, Mission of Deeds has provided furniture and beds to over 7000 area households based on referrals from social workers and clergy.
